Layla – A Grumpy Knight is a character asset designed for 2D games, visual novels, and interactive projects. The character comes with separated layers for expressions and clothing, allowing quick and easy customization.
Includes:
- PSD file organized in named folders
- PNG files exported in parts
- 3 eye variations
- 4 mouth variations
- A Knight outfit with 8 mixable pieces
- A peasant outfit with 6 pieces
- 2 underwear accessories
- 2000x4000px canvas size
This PSD allows individual activation and deactivation of each clothing piece. Each piece is adjusted to work independently; for example, the sword sheath does not depend on the belt, and the chainmail can be used together with the cape, among other combinations.
If you need pieces with higher or lower resolution than 2000x4000, please contact me. Since the file was originally created using vectorization (lost when exporting to PSD), I can provide examples such as a close-up of the face or smaller files upon request.

Really liked it! You can mix the expressions in many ways by combining different eyes and mouths. I love that they’re separated, it makes things easier and works great with the game I’m making.
Can I use the clothing pieces in other projects?

Yes!
Although each piece was originally designed with this specific character in mind, they were made to function independently. This means you might encounter small visual issues when using them on different characters, but I see no problem in using them separately or adapting them.
In the PSD file, each piece is properly separated, which makes adjustments easy. You can even change their colors with just one click.
